My research in Dr. Kruer’s lab entails the identification of genetic changes that may attribute to neurodegenerative disorders in children. Currently, I am using a set of different computational methods and tools to analyze the enrichment and biological pathway dependencies of the genes that are found to be associated with these disorders.

Before joining the lab, I completed my PhD in Chemistry from Arizona State University where my research was focused on predicting interactions between proteins and peptides using machine learning (ML). I am very excited to acquire new research skills in nucleic acid sequencing and multiomics analyses and put them to use in investigating clinical data.
