PhD Student, Biomedical Informatics, Arizona State University

I am a Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Informatics and Data Science program at Arizona State University. My current research focuses on applying drug repurposing methods to rare neurological disorders, including KMT2B, by using patient-derived gene expression signatures and in-vitro drug screens. By evaluating how different sample types—such as blood, saliva, and skin—impact drug recommendations, this work aims to accelerate the discovery of accessible, life-altering treatments. I am also involved in the lab's research studies working to identify genetic variants in cerebral palsy patients.

Prior to joining the lab, I worked on child health microbiome studies and built SARS-CoV-2 consensus calling pipelines for viral surveillance in Arizona.
