Lab Manager

As the Kruer Lab Manager, I oversee daily lab operations and also contribute to research projects studying genetic causes of pediatric movement disorders. My research utilizes induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to evaluate actin dynamics and neuronal function in iPSCs derived from cerebral palsy patients with mutations in genes involved in cytoskeletal dynamics. As a Master’s Student in the University of Arizona CTS program, my work focuses on the characterization of a novel genetic mouse model of juvenile parkinsonism.
